WINE

Draconis Vineyards was founded in 2002 and incorporated in 2006. Located on Peltier Road and in the Lodi Appellation (Mokelumne River sub-AVA), the winery itself is not open to the general public and has been an 'underground' operation for many years now.  A small tasting room, located approximately 25 miles to the North West in Clarksburg, CA, is available for face-to-face purchases of the wine.

Zinfandel and Petite Sirah are produced exclusively - depending on the year, Pinot Noir and Merlot are also available.  All wine is made in the Burgundian reductionist method and is singularly designed to drink as silky smooth as possible and not smell or taste like ass.

An additional proprietary technique increases its velvet-like texture and ease of drink. All wine is aged in new oak barrels for 24 to 27 months before being bottled. During the barrel aging, the wine is NOT racked, fined, or filtered.

This is the first time Draconis has ever been offered online.

AVAILABILITY

Draconis Winery operates on a very limited supply of wine.

When the wine is sold out, it's sold out.  We do provide a short wait list; please use the contact form and request to be notified when the next vintage is available for purchase.  We ALWAYS offer the wine first to those on the wait list before online.

SHIPPING

We cannot ship to the following 17 states: NV, UT, AZ, ND, SD, TX, LA, AL, MS, IA, IL, KY, NY, MA, DE, VA, and NH.   All other states are okay to ship.

Depending on your location, either UPS or FedEx will be used for delivery. Please provide a physical shipping address, preferably a business address when asked for the shipping information.

Someone over the age of 21 will need to sign for the wine.

If the wine is returned to our shipping center, undelivered, you will be charged an additional shipping fee to cover that cost.   So, it is very important that you provide an accurate shipping address.
